Education and health are two needs for the persons and their families, and finally to the society as a whole.

The Biopsychosocial model (Engel, Science, 1977) shows the relationship among biologic, psychologic and social faces of the person as the connectiviness between lungs ant the heart. Thus, a family problem or an emotional distress may follow of a sickness with biological consequences. Based on this model were the source of medical specialities such as Family and Community Medicine and Psychosomatic Medicine.

For an integral care approach to the person, its family and the society, educative and intervention programmes evidence based are requiered.

With this aim, the Education, Health and Society Foundation is constitued to carry out education, interventional and research programmes on the common area of these three disciplines.
